ForgeMend LLC ("ForgeMend," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at forgemend.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or contact us, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

  • Information you provide directly. When you fill out our project intake form or send us an email, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number (if provided), and any project details or files you share with us.
  • Information collected automatically. Our website may collect standard web analytics data such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, and approximate geographic region. We do not collect this data in a way that identifies you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and evaluate your project scope
  • Prepare and deliver a price quote and scope agreement
  • Communicate with you throughout the engagement
  • Invoice you and process payment

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, and we do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

3. Project Data and Confidentiality

Any data files you share with us during an engagement — including ERP exports, customer and supplier records, or product catalogs — are treated as confidential. We use this data solely to perform the agreed-upon services. We do not retain, share, or use client data beyond the scope of the engagement. Upon project completion, you may request that we delete any copies of your files.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Contact form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms and stored in your Netlify dashboard. Project files are shared via private, access-controlled Google Drive folders that are created specifically for each engagement and not accessible to the public.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use basic cookies for functional purposes (such as remembering form state). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future (such as Google Analytics), we will update this policy accordingly.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in connection with operating our website and delivering services:

  • Netlify — website hosting and contact form processing
  • Google Drive — secure file exchange during engagements

These services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

7. Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your information
  • Opt out of any future communications from us

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
